Why use us to clean your carpets?
We use the ‘hot water extraction’ technique to clean carpets, this is the most effective way to get the best results. Other companies may try and convince you that using a dry-cleaning technique is just as effective, but it’s not. We compare it to washing your hair with dry shampoo, you just don’t get the same results.
You needn’t worry about your carpets being too wet once we’ve finished, we use an air-mover (large fan) throughout the clean which circulates air, thus drying the carpets and leaving minimal moisture, which will dry within a few hours.
We have recently changed our chemical range – we now use child/pet safe, bio-degradable chemicals, much better for you & for the environment.
We vacuum thoroughly before we use the hot water extraction machine. Vacuuming with a twin-motor upright vacuum cleaner is an ESSENTIAL part of carpet cleaning; the bristles dislodge any soil at the base of the carpet fibres and extract them. Without vacuuming the soil stays at the base of the carpet and when wet will rise to the top as the moisture evaporates.
Many carpet cleaning companies skip the vacuuming to save time, but it’s cutting corners and they should know better.
